In the first consultation complementary medical physiotherapy, the emphasis is on getting to know you and your situation. Conversation, observation and examination are naturally included, while I get to know you through the actual work with the body. The treatment is continuously adapted, and plenty of time is set aside to understand the connections and needs before further measures are considered.
Many people experience diffuse, complex or unclear complaints. You don't need to have a clear explanation in advance. An important part of the work is precisely exploring connections and understanding the situation better together.
We work with both specific musculoskeletal disorders and more complex or long-term conditions.
Many people seek treatment for pain, reduced mobility or strain-related challenges. Others come with persistent tension, stress-related ailments or migraines, fatigue and sleep problems. These are often issues where several factors interact.
What they have in common is a desire for better function, more available capacity and a body that feels more stable and connected.
Reactions vary from person to person.
Some experience immediate relief, while others may feel soreness, fatigue, or temporary increased sensitivity.
Such reactions are usually temporary. If something unexpected is experienced, it will be discussed at the next consultation.
After treatment, it may be appropriate to:
• give your body a rest
• drink plenty of water
• observe how the body responds over time
In some situations the problem is no longer primarily physical.
When direction, decision-making, identity, or life trajectory begin to drift, a deeper level of work may be relevant.
Existential Realignment focuses on restoring clarity, orientation, and coherence within the system as a whole.
Maybe you recognize this case.(/kopi-av-innsikt)
The treatment can sometimes be experienced as intense, especially in areas that have been stressed or compensated over time.
The work is always adapted in dialogue, and adjusted according to your response along the way.
Needs and progression are assessed continuously, and not just based on a single symptom.
The goal is not only reduction of pain, but better function, increased capacity and a more appropriate organization of the body over time.
The duration of the treatment depends on the complexity of the issue and how the body responds. Recommendations are given along the way, without fixed packages or standard courses.
It is important that you feel safe during the consultation.
Speak up if something feels uncomfortable, too intense, or not right for you.
A good dialogue is essential and the work is always adjusted according to your boundaries and signals.

Many persistent symptoms are not caused by structural disease but by long-standing patterns of tension, compensation, and nervous system regulation.

The pain may persist if the pattern that maintains the problem has not changed.
The body adapts to strain and stress. Over time, such adaptations can create tensions and compensations that cause symptoms to persist.

Chronic tension can develop when the body adapts to long-term stress, physical strain, or unresolved experiences.
Over time the nervous system may remain in a heightened state of activation, leading to persistent muscle tension, fatigue, or discomfort.
"Why the body keeps telling you..."(/kopi-av-hvorfor-virker-ikke-behandling)
Yes. Long-term stress can influence breathing patterns, muscle tone, posture, digestion, and sleep.
Over time these changes may contribute to persistent physical symptoms.
As the body compensates for strain or injury, tensions and load patterns can change.
Thus, symptoms can also move from one area to another over time.
Sometimes symptoms are not about a simple injury or illness, but about how the body regulates itself as a system.
When regulation is disrupted, one may experience diffuse symptoms or a general feeling that something is not right.

Holistic facial therapy is a calm treatment (/kopi-av-hvorfor-så-mye-spenning-i-ans)focusing on relaxation, circulation and gentle lymphatic stimulation in the face and neck.
The treatment is suitable for those who want peace, relaxation and a break from everyday life.
